CowParade© is the largest and most popular public art event in the world, featuring life-size reinforced fibreglass cows that are painted by local artists and community groups and displayed throughout public places. It has taken place in South America, Asia, Europe and the USA. CowParade came to Northern Ireland promising a festival of fun, art and creativity.
As well as aesthetically presenting CowParade as a quirky, creative, cultural and fun event, it had to be totally community orientated. The website was therefore the core marketing tool, not just for providing event information, but for active engagement with sponsors, participants and community by utilising the website as a social media hub.
